How to Celebrate the Holidays with Your Super Pet
To make sure that our SPC members aren’t only happy but safe this time of the year, we’ve prepared tips on how to celebrate the holidays with your super pet!
Whether it’s your first or tenth Christmas season with your pet, the holidays always feel special. To make sure that our SPC members aren’t only happy but safe this time of the year, we’ve prepared tips on how to celebrate the holidays with your super pet!
Tip # 1 Keep Christmas parties pet-friendly
While holiday parties are the best reason to have people over and show off your pets, it’s still important to keep safety in mind. If you’re the one hosting, make sure that your pet has a quiet space in case they get overwhelmed with all the new visitors. Also, with all the guests coming in and out, check that your pet doesn’t accidentally escape.

Tip # 2 Remind your guests to avoid feeding your pets
Even if there are tons of leftovers from noche buena, make sure your guests avoid feeding your pets food from the table. A lot of our holiday meals have ingredients that are pet hazards. If you have guests who find feeding your pets irresistible, offer them pet treats instead!
Tip # 3 Prepare for fireworks
This might be the number one stressor for pets during the holidays. If your pet gets really anxious with loud noises, ask your vet for tips on how to best calm them down. As a precaution, it could be a good idea to keep your pets indoors before sunset on December 31.

Tip # 4 Travel with your pets in mind
If you’re taking trips this holiday, make sure that you’ve made arrangements so that your pet is well taken care of. And in case you’re traveling with your pet, don’t forget to prepare for them too. Pack a secure harness or carrier, make sure they have enough food or water, bring toys that could make them feel safe during long travel times.
Tip # 5 Stay tuned for special holiday events
For our Super Pets Club members, we have special things planned this holiday season. Stay tuned and mark your calendars!
