Ideas for Celebrating the Holidays with your Super Pet

From festive family photos to SM Super Pet-friendly noche buena treats, here are some fun ways to include your SM Super Pet in this year’s holiday celebrations.

Did you know that the Philippines has the longest Christmas season in the world? As soon as September hits, the holiday decorations go up, and the holidays begin! If you’ve started planning your holiday celebrations, here are a few ideas you can try out with your pet!

• Snap a Holiday Family Photo

Nothing says “Happy Holidays from our family to yours” than a festive family photo. For this holiday season, why not make it even more festive with your pet? Snap photos in matching Christmas outfits and take the opportunity to take solo portraits of your pet too.

• Dedicate a Special Ornament

Every family member deserves a spot on the Christmas tree, including your pet! You can start a new family tradition and dedicate a tree ornament for your pet every year. You can even customize an ornament with your favorite photo of your pet!

• Bake Pet-Friendly Treats

Your pet doesn’t need to be excluded from this year’s noche buena! When preparing for your holiday sweets, why not include some pet-friendly options? Other pet parents recommend using ingredients like pumpkin, sweet potatoes, peanut butter, and apples.

• Pack a special Christmas Gift

For families who gather around to open gifts during Christmas morning, it could be even more fun with your pet around. It could be a fun family activity, especially with kids, to prepare your pet’s perfect Christmas gift.

• Go See Christmas Lights

If your pet loves going outside, holiday trips to the mall can be even extra special. Take them on a Christmas light walk or to the malls to soak in the decorations. You might also find the perfect backdrop for your pet holiday photo!

• Visit a Holiday Pet Bazaar or Event

The ‘Ber’ months are for celebrating and many places host different holiday-themed events for your pets. Check out pet expos, markets, pet meet-ups happening around the country. We also have lots in store for our SM Super Pets Club members this holiday season so stay tuned!
