As pet parents, we agree that pet people are the best people––but did you know that this is backed by research and science? Studies over the years have given evidence that having a pet is correlated with living longer, reduced stress, and even appearing more attractive!

Every time I went home, someone was already waiting for me behind our screen. The simple things brought so much joy to me since I have never experienced such wonderful things.”

“Interacting with my pets makes me feel great, aside from being beneficial to my mental health and my health condition. I had cancer and diabetes, so being with them helps ease my pain and loneliness.”

But last year, my sister's furbaby gave birth to two wonderful babies and I decided to adopt one of them (actually begged for it!). I never thought that I would be like this––that I would shed a lot of tears for a dog. I discovered new sides to myself. My selfish self can be caring, my hate for clinginess went away.”

“Pet parenting helps us realize that we are capable of loving.”

“Inibigay ko lahat ng kaya kong ibigay sa kanila kasi alam ko dadaan lang sila sa buhay natin at aalis din agad. At least naranasan nila kung paano natin sila pahalagahan at alagaan, hindi lang bilang pet kundi tunay na anak natin.”
